About

      Our American team consists of three women from the Pacific Northwest.  We will be leaving Portland, OR for Sibiu, Romania on July 3 and returning July 20, after two weeks of camp.  We will be responsible for evening devotions, Bible lessons, sharing our testimonies, teaching crafts, doing outdoor activities and games.  We will be working alongside a Romanian team who will lead songs, teach the morning lessons and be our personal interpreters.                                                              Our campers are children ages eight-teens. The first camp consists of twenty-five boys and girls from a nearby village and the second camp consists of fifty orphaned girls from private homes.  To attend camp is a special highlight for these children.  The cost of one week of camp is $75 per camper.  This covers their meals, camp tee-shirt, craft supplies, hygiene kit and any other needs.  Each child is funded through donations of individuals to cover all their needs.
If you are able to help, I would appreciate your donation.
   Also, I would greatly appreciate your prayers for this mission! I will specifically be responsible to share the Bible lessons in the evening.  I want to be effective in communicating the love of God, the Gospel of salvation and the truth of God's Word for each child.  Please pray that we will make an eternal difference in their lives this summer.
