American teams from the United States volunteer two weeks of their time serving at the Camp of the Good Shepherd each summer. Team members are responsible for leading games and crafts, singing songs, performing skits, sharing their testimonies, and praying for and with the Romanian children. A Romanian team is also at camp, ministering to the children with the American team and translating to help with communication. The camp is fully funded by donors, so no child is turned away from enjoying this special adventure each summer. We want each child in foster care or in the State Placement Centers to have the chance to know Jesus Christ as Savior, and in camp they learn how they can do that. That is only made possible through the work and financial support of the many faithful volunteers and donors to our ministry.
